About MEG
Meet Meghann Mundt, Nervous System Mentor who has found her purpose focusing and working with brave humans on education and practical application for overall nervous system health. Using cold exposure/ice baths, intentional breathing, sound frequency, and other somatic techniques, Meghann provides practical, at-home tools to help individuals understand their nervous system, sensations, feelings, and reactions. With over four years of experience, she has guided over 2,000 people through ice baths, many of whom were first-time plungers.
Meghann sees the ice as a window into our fight-or-flight response, helping individuals learn to create peace amidst chaos, rewire neural pathways, and respond rather than react from a place of survival. As a breathwork practitioner and educator, she works with her community, first responders, and corporations on functional breathing and emotional state management to create resilient and present individuals.
A two-time cancer survivor (Leukemia at 15 and Thyroid cancer at 31), Meghann turned to ice and breathwork out of desperation after years of chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. She is passionate about educating people on their nervous systems and using breath and ice to empower them to take control of their own bodies.
Meghann conducts community breathwork sessions and works one-on-one with clients to create personalized healing plans. She believes that only with a regulated and connected nervous system can we heal and experience joy. Her classes provide tools for achieving this balance.
Meghann works extensively with first responders, including departments like the Town of Gilbert Fire Department and Chandler PD, facilitating educational programs and practical applications. She provides take-home tools for shifting emotional states through intentional breathing, focusing on functional breathing, CO2 tolerance, proper breathing techniques, down regulation, breathing for physical activity, and integration with home life.
Additionally, Meghann emphasizes the importance of co-regulation in her work, helping individuals synchronize their nervous systems with others to enhance emotional stability and resilience. This practice is especially beneficial for first responders, athletes, those in addiction recovery, and individuals dealing with PTSD, cult recovery, cancer, autism/ADHD, and overwhelm. She integrates breath and ice practices into everyday life to create more resilient and connected nervous systems. Meghann is honored to be making a significant impact through her work.
